Eleventh FIPA Meeting Notice
The tenth FIPA meeting will be held on 19-23 October 1998 at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center.
During the meeting a session will be assigned to the Annual Meeting of the Association. Attendance will be restricted to FIPA members.

HOTEL
Cost per room: $99.00 plus tax
Individuals will be responsible for their own room and incidentals. Reservations list is to be completed and returned no later than September 19, 1998. Rooms must be guaranteed with a credit card or one nights deposit.
The 1998 FIPA Convention will be held at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center. They have a total 187 spacious rooms offering outstanding views of the downtown Durham area. For the comforts of the guest, all guest rooms are equipped with full size ironing board and iron, hair dryer, coffeemaker,desk top electrical outlets and computer hook up, two telephones, speaker phone, voicemail and full length mirror. All rooms have recently completed an extensive guest room renovation and upgrades in the public areas.
The hotel has the unique advantage of offering not only 44,000 square feet of event and exhibit space but are part of a complex consisting of the Carolina Theater and Cinemas, Durham Arts Council and the Durham Armory, all of which provide unique and interesting event and meeting options.
Bus runs daily to Northgate Mall, historical site near hotel, close to Duke Campus. The hotel is located in the old Bright Leaf Square Mall downtown. The convention is being held the week of the North Carolina State Fair which is held in Raleigh. There will be some college football games being played at this time.

Accommodation: Meetings and accommodations have been arranged at the Marriott. Eighty rooms have been blocked starting October 17 (early arrivals ) lasting until October 24.
