Seventh FIPA Meeting Notice

The seventh FIPA meeting will be held on 06-10 October 1997 in Munich, DE and will be hosted by Siemens at its Neuperlach Süd campus at

The meeting will be open to FIPA member companies and to all those companies that have made substantial comment to one or more parts of FIPA '97 specification ver 2.0.

During the meeting a session will be assigned to the Annual Meeting of the Association. Attendance will be restricted to FIPA members.

Structure of sixth FIPA meeting

The three main goals of the meeting are

• drafting of FIPA 97 parts 1 to 7 for final approval
• drafting of FIPA 97 field trials rev. 2.0
• drafting if FIPA's 3rd Call for Proposals

The special rate will be DM 160.- per night for a single room which is about US$93.-

Arrange any specials like twin rooms, later departure etc. directly with the hotel. Please note that the Munich "Oktober Fest" will finish on Sunday 5 October 1997. Unfortunately the Novotel has no vacancies one or several days earlier.

The Novotel is two minutes walking distance from the gate to the Siemens campus. Both places are easy to reach by the subway lines U2 and U5.
