The OPIMA 1.1 specification has been approved!

Purpose The Open Platform Initiative for Multimedia Access (OPIMA) has been set up to develop specifications enabling a consumer to obtain a receiver and begin to consume and pay for services, without having prior knowledge of which services would be consumed, in a simple way such as by operating a remote control device. OPIMA specifically addresses intellectual property management and protection.
